Going Home

Going Home is a series of six novels covering the life experiences of five generations of a typically modern family. Originally set in the Highlands of Scotland the action will take the reader through a host of different settings and locations. We will see characters in their existential locale, looking forward as people generally do, or stuck in the moment as they sometimes are. You are invited to suffer with them; drink and laugh, love and revile – strive and hope. Going Home is not presented as a retrospective, at least until the closing chapters of the last book in the series and then marginally so with a very special treatment which may challenge and shock readers. It is a genuine window on the past; a thoroughly researched, imaginative epic – never a sentimental scrapbook.
